Exhibition Leaflet;
A Catfish in the Bodoni

A Catfish in the Bodoni is an offsite group exhibition presented by Soft Systems on Hollywood Boulevard during Felix Art Fair in Los Angeles, with a reception on Sunday, March 1, 2026, 2–5pm. Borrowing its title from Otto J. Boutin's 1970 novel, the show gathers works that have traveled with the curator, packed and moved between temporary spaces before arriving in LA, and is installed on the sidewalk adjacent to the fair, close to the art market yet physically outside it.

Featuring Ika Pearl, Y. Waffle, Jules Garder, Lane Sheehy, Noelle Whitaker, John Ogonowski, Drew Villanueva, and Soft Systems Telecom Inc.

A double-sided, full-color leaflet accompanies the show, featuring a public-domain catfish illustration on one side and exhibition details plus an excerpt from Boutin's novel on the reverse.
